Updates for the organization
Hope everyone is holding together on these last days of the semester!
Last Wednesday, we launched our book club with over 40 people expressing interest! If you weren’t able to make it to the callout, fill out this interest form. The book club coordinators are currently reviewing the submissions with more information on the way soon!
Last Thursday, several of our members participated in a direct action at the IMU Starbucks aimed at condemning both Starbucks and IU for their ongoing support for the genocidal Israeli campaign against the people of Gaza. There will be another action this week so reach out to the organization if you’re interested in participating!
Be sure to check out the news analysis from last week on the cruelty of Israel’s attack on Gaza, and stay tuned for more.
Also, we just activated paid subscriptions consider subscribing to this newsletter as a way to support PSC organizing efforts! Anything helps ensure persistent and successful institution building!
Take some time off and join us This Thursday at 6:30pm in GISB 1134 for an evening with David McDonald as we listen to and discuss the culture and history surrounding Palestinian resistance music. Details will be posted as soon as they come (we will also update here)!
The Palestine Solidarity Committee will be sending a few people to the interfaith dialog this Wednesday. We hope to achieve some fruitful dialog!
Ongoing now, one of our supporters is putting on an art exhibition that reflects on the current slaughter in Gaza and forces us to “ask ourselves hard questions about why our society enables so much violence against people and the earth.” This space of collaboration and sharing will be available until December 9
